On Friday 11 October, Poliform Bari hosted an exhibition by photographer Sai Sei, an artistic journey of 14 shots portraying abandoned villas, mansions and farmhouses in various parts of Italy.

These are domestic places marked by the passing of time that preserve, in the rooms, walls, tapestries and furnishings that have survived neglect (and raids), a special essence and intimacy.

Sai Sei’s gaze and explorations capture perspectives, details, lights and colours that reveal evocative and hidden places, where beauty resists.

‘Segni del tempo (Signs of Time)’ is an artistic reflection on the passage of time and living, a tribute to beauty and life ‘trapped’ in spaces and objects that remain, despite everything.
